John Holloman
CEO
Before JAK was established, I was a part of the vision. Throughout the process, I have been able to work in every position of the company including moulding operator, delivery, sales, and now management. I’ve enjoyed watching the company grow over the years by observing each customer’s desires surpassed on every job we complete. Outside of JAK, I am happily married with two children, I love American Ninja Warrior, and I am privileged to serve at New Direction Church in Snow Hill. We would thoroughly enjoy working with you on your next project or new construction house!

I am an avid outdoorsman that loves to fish and spend time on the golf course. I have a wife and together we have two beautiful kids a girl and a boy. In July of 2017, I joined the JAK team as the inventory manager. I knew eventually I wanted to be a part of the sales team and when an opportunity was presented, I didn’t look back. I love being on different job sites daily and seeing the progress and design ideas from each contractor and homeowner, while providing my professional advice as well. I look forward to working with you on your upcoming projects!

Originally from Elmira, NY, I received a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University in 2013. Upon completion, I moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina where I met my loving husband, Quinton Hellyer. During my professional career, I have worked in the interior design industry by designing interior beach houses to designing and remodeling kitchens and bathroom projects. I joined the JAK team in 2015 as the Kitchen and Bath Designer. Working with each homeowner and contractor to develop the best design and selection for the budget is what I enjoy most. No matter the size of your upcoming project, I would be glad to work with you on your design and selections!

I graduated from NC State College of Textiles with my degree in Business and Brand Management. While living in Raleigh, I spent many years designing homes and interiors. From forming house plans to hand selecting fabrics and wallpapers, I was able to see the job from start to finish. Since then, I moved to Trenton to be closer to family and the coast. As of September 2021, I am excited to announce JAK has expanded and opened a showroom in New Bern-JAK Kitchen & Bath. This new location offers a wide variety of cabinet lines, countertops, and hardware displays to accommodate every need. More importantly, it offers a larger, more remote workspace for clients near New Bern and surrounding eastern NC counties. Being a local to the area, these towns are very near and dear to my heart, and I am looking forward to executing every project with passion and diligence.

My interest in home design began at an early age, working with my father, a custom home builder. I grew up with sets of house plans covering half the dining room table! After studying at the Massachusetts College of Art, I began my career in interior design through high end furniture stores. In 2013 our family moved to North Carolina where I continued in that field as a merchandiser and buyer. When the opportunity presented itself, I ventured into the world of kitchen and bath design. Having built four houses in the past decade, I’m well aware of the stress involved so I strive to make the cabinet design and selection aspect of my client’s projects an enjoyable experience. My spare time is spent with my family, Jack Russell Terriers, and miniature horses.
